Music

When I was 10 years old I got my first ever smartphone. At the time I only saw it as a music player, with the potential of offering me all music ever made. I decided I want to listen to every song ever made before soon coming to terms with my mortality, I then decided I should instead listen to as many popular songs as I can, for fear of missing out but also to hae something to talk about with others as I was growing tired of people around me calling my quiet demeanor "being shy", as I did not feel shy, I only had not much experience socialising. It would take me years later t start building basic social skills. In my journey to know every popular artist, album and song, I slowly descended down the rabbit hole, from the top of the monthly, yearly and world charts, to album charts posted on certain niche corners of the internet, to discussing music with others and experiencing it as an intimate bonding opportunity with friends, loved ones and internet strangers. Today I listen to A LOT of music, I enjoy discovering new albums of all kinds of genres and popularity levels! Here I share with you projects and artists I enjoy that I find tend to be overlooked or under-represented in most online music sharing spaces. I also discuss my thoughts and different ways of looking at music and experiencing it throughout the following pages. Related pages: Piracy
